IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Please follow these instructions carefully when registering:
1. Use the official Nexus Restaurant Challenge registration link.
Students should register directly here: https://vb.knowledgematters.com/user/register/collnexus
Please encourage students to use this direct link rather than navigating to the registration form through the general Knowledge Matters website.
2. Use an official college or university email address.
Students should register using their official institutional email address, rather than a personal Gmail, Yahoo, or other email account. This helps identify them as a current student and connects their registration with their institution.
3. Membership Number – Enter 00000.
The Knowledge Matters registration system requires a five-digit Membership Number because this field is built into its competitive-event registration system.
Students should enter 00000 in the Membership Number field.
This is simply a required system field and will not affect their eligibility to participate in the Challenge.
4. Enter your college or university name accurately.
Students should enter the full name of their college or university when registering. This is especially important for our international participants so that we can accurately identify the institutions and countries represented in the Challenge.

Open to college and university students worldwide studying hospitality, tourism, culinary arts, or related fields.
- Create your free Hospitality Nexus profile.
- Select “Yes” when asked, “Are you interested in joining the Nexus Restaurant Challenge?”
- We’ll send you the official Knowledge Matters registration link through the Hospitality Nexus on October 5.
